Our Life

Following the Rule of St. Augustine and called to a life of apostolic contemplation, we seek to draw from authentic sources of Catholic spirituality the necessary strength and knowledge to cultivate a deep spirit of prayer and contemplation.

Eucharistic

Devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is of great importance in our lives. The Eucharist being the source and summit of our faith, is also for us the source and summit of our spiritual lives.

“If we can instill into every woman who knocks at our doors and asks for acceptance, a love of the Blessed Sacrament, we will have a powerhouse of sanctity which no power will ever destroy, whether it be the devil or the world” - Father Ryan, SOLI founder

Marian

As God came to us through Mary, the Sisters go to God through her. We strive to imitate Mary by a deep interior life and by total abandonment to the will of God. We recite 2 rosaries everyday and renew our Consecration to Mary every year according the method of St. Louis de Montfort on December 8th, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, our Patronal Feast Day.

“Our devotion to Mary is not just one of our many devotions; it is a part of all the others” - Father Ryan

Other Devotions

In his lifetime, St. Joseph was the provider and guardian of the Holy Family. We pray daily a Memorare to St. Joseph.
Our Community also offers a novena and procession every month to the Divine Infant Jesus of Prague for vocations.

Community Life

We strive to follow the life lived in the humble abode at Nazareth where there reigned perfect harmony of mind and heart.
Every day there is time set apart where the Sisters recreate together. Recreation helps to cement union among the Sisters and to maintain a familial spirit. It is also a welcome rest in our lives!

“Before all else, live together in harmony being of one mind and one heart on the way to God.” - Rule of St. Augustine
