"We  will  take  on  all works  that
are connected with religious education, e.g...church choirs..."
            - Father Ryan

sacredmusic2Paragraph 1074 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, quoting John Paul II's Catechesi Tradendae, states that "catechesis is intrinsically linked with the whole of liturgical and sacramental activity, for it is in the sacraments, especially in the Eucharist, that Christ Jesus works in fullness for the transformation of men." From this intrinsic link flows our apostolate in the realm of sacred music and church choirs.

sacredmusic4St. Peter Schola Cantorum

At our mission Convent in Port Hood, the Sisters founded and continue to direct St. Peter Schola Cantorum.  The schola sings at St. Peter's Parish every Saturday for the vigil Mass.  The repertoire of the schola includes Ordinaries in Latin and English, polyphony, the dialogues, as well as psalms, chants and hymns in unison and harmony.
